The 34-year-old YouTube star Colleen Ballinger shared a vlog announcing the early birth of her twins where footage of them in the newborn intensive care unit was shown, assuring fans that the babies are doing great. She revealed that the babies weren’t due until 27 December, but the twins came at just 32 and a half weeks pregnant.
She told,
“I just want to let you know that we’re fine, the babies are fine- I know it’s a little scary to see them in the NICU but that’s because it’s scary to have babies in the NICU! But they are so great, they’re so strong, they’re both breathing on their own, they’re doing really, really great. So it’s kind of scary and hard for us to see the footage, to see them there, to share this with the world, but it is real and it’s part of their story and our story.”
Colleen shared, “They’re doing really great, and we’re really proud of them, and we’re so freaking grateful for everyone who works at the NICU at the hospital who has kept them safe. The reason they’re here is because of all the incredible workers at the NICU, and there are not enough words to express how grateful we are for all of them and that they do.”
At last in the video, she joked, saying that they’ll never post again, and said, “We’re a little busy.”
She shared the news of the arrival of twins on 6 November on her Instagram, writing, “ My sweet babies decided to come early. Video of the birth is linked in my bio if you want to go see the magical chaos that happened this weekend.”
She said the twins were a boy and a girl, both weighing in at just over four pounds.
