Colombus Short has been arrested again for domestic violence, and he allegedly told the cops that his wife punched him in his face, but no marks were found on his face when they checked instead a minor injury was discovered on his wife. However, the details of the injury were not disclosed.
Colombus Short was taken into Police custody on 2 February, according to TMZ, as police were called to his home in San Fernando valley when an argument between him and his wife arose. He was arrested for felony domestic violence, and he stayed in custody for about 12 hours and posted a $50,000 bond.
After that, he updated his Instagram account, posting a quote from Corinthians that said, "Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever." He wrote "#levitating 2022" as the caption for that post.
His wife, Aida Abramyan Short, recently posted a video of Colombus talking about his arrest on her Instagram story. She wrote alongside the video how marriage isn't easy but that they're trying to work on things in their own way and time. She also asked for privacy and prayers, and on the video, Colombus can be seen explaining the incident that got him arrested for domestic violence recently.
He shared that he had asked his wife to leave the house at that time, but due to frustration, he grabbed her phone and scratched her hand. So, when police arrived at their home, they had no choice but to take him seeing a scratch on her hand, so he said in the video, "I went to jail. So, I'm sorry for anybody that I let down. I'm grinding, I'm working hard. But my apologies."
The actor also wrote under the video, "The Truth - Marriages are challenging but getting through it is the blessing! I AM not an abusive man nor am I on drugs but drinking alcohol makes my mouth get a little out of pocket. That's the truth. My wife and I are working on our marriage."
