Danny Masterson is an American actor, comedian, and disc jockey. He played the roles of Steve Hyde in the ‘70s show and Jameson “Rooster” Bennett in The Ranch.
Masterson was born on 13 March 1976, in Albertson, New York, USA. He is pretty much prominent as an actor, but his name spread in a bad way when he was arrested and charged in connection with three rape allegations on 17 June 2020.
Danny Masterson Faces Trial On Three Count Of Rape Charges
In an emotional pre-trial hearing and testimony, three women said that actor Danny Masterson raped them nearly 20 years ago. A judge found on 21 May 2021 that he must stand trial. Danny allegedly raped all three women in their twenties in separate incidents between 2001 and 2003.
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Charlaine F. Olmedo was the one, who ruled the trial, and he further says that the three women’s testimony was credible for the preliminary hearing. They were kept from reporting their accusations to the police for years because of their church’s teachings.
The 45-year-old actor has been free on $3.3 million bails since his June arrest. He is charged with three counts of rape by force or fear and could get up to 45 years in prison if convicted.
However, Masterson denies the charges, and his attorney says the sex was consensual with two women and said the third alleged rape never happened.
Married Life Of Danny Masterson With Wife Bijou Phillips
Danny Masterson is a married man. He tied the knot with actress Bijou Phillips after eight years of dating on 18 October 2011. They share a daughter together named Fianna Frances Masterson (born on 14 February 2014).
The couple did an intimate ceremony with a selected group of friends and family in the Irish countryside. They had a formal wedding at a private castle, the picturesque setting of Tipperary serving as their background, during a weeklong celebration.

Phillips wore a custom Zac Posen gown, and Masterson donned Albert Hammond Jr. for Confederacy. The groom’s brother Chris Masterson served as the best man.
The duo met when they were seated next to each other at a celebrity poker tournament in Las Vegas in 2005 and hit it off. “Every guy at the table was flirting with me but Danny,” Phillips recalled to Paper magazine in 2009. “He wasn’t laughing at my jokes. I was like, ‘who is this Danny Masterson and what does he think he’s doing?’”
Masterson told the magazine, “I had only known her as the little crazy girl. After Vegas, and talking to her a few times, I was shocked by how unbelievably intelligent she was. She knew every book I had ever read. I was like, this girl is amazing.”
Masterson proposed to Phillips, his co-star in several films, in March 2009.
When Masterson came to light back in 2017 after being accused of three counts of rape, his wife, Phillips, was shocked and heartbroken. Despite going through a difficult time together, the pair have managed to preserve their marriage.
In fact, a photo was posted on Phillips’ social media back in 2019’s Valentine’s Day. “Happy Birthday, little lady! I love you so much, my two Valentines! First ‘I love you’ ’05 and our baby ‘2014 all the same magical day of love,” Phillips captioned a photo of Masterson and the couple’s only daughter, Fianna.
Then, Masterson got arrested in charge of multiple rapes in June 2020, who was free on bail later, whereas Philips was nowhere to be seen. Eventually, after a week-long of the allegations, Phillips was seen for the first time notably to be still wearing her wedding ring as she purchased a bunch of sunflowers and some snacks in Los Angeles. These facts lead to a conclusion of the couple still being together in their married life. Nevertheless, they seem to keep themselves out of the public eye together for the time being.

Though Danny Masterson has been in the light of allegations from three counts of rape, he is quite a prominent personality in the acting field. He has garnered an estimated net worth of $8 million from his professional career as of 2020, but the charges against Masterson have impacted his net worth.
However, Danny’s earning source is not only from his professional career. He is also said to have a great investment in real estate too. Masterson is best known for his role on the hit sitcom That ‘70s Show, but he started acting when he was 4. And by the time he was 16, Danny had appeared in over 100 TV commercials for national brands. Some of his acting credit includes Joe’ Life (1993), Roseanne (1994), Party of Five (1996), NYPD Blue (1994-1997), Face/Off (1997), Dracula 2000 (2000), MADtv (2002-2004), The Dead Zone (2005), Men at Work (2012-2014), Beethoven’s 2nd (1993), and more.
Following this success, he found another career breakthrough in 2016 when he starred with his former co-star Ashton Kutcher on The Ranch for two seasons. Eventually, the streamer Netflix canceled The Ranch afterward, and then his agency UTA dropped Danny in December 2017.
