Halle Berry has surprised her fans and followers on IG with a looked like wedding photo of her and her boyfriend, Van Hunt on New Year’s Day.
The Hollywood actress shared a loved-up photo with her boyfriend kissing inside a chapel with a gorgeous sea behind them and captioned the post, “Well...IT’S OFFICIAL.”
Her simple caption hinted about their secret wedding speculations and many of her fans and even celebrity friends took it seriously and congratulated her in the comment section. Naomi Campbell wrote, “Congratulations @hallberry blessings to your beautiful Union" and The Rock wrote, “Congrats you two!! Beautiful!” while Octavia Spencer commented, “Congratulations.”
Some followers were confused with her second image on the slide that said, “It’s 2022!” and they commented, “You got us good until I swiped right.” and “I see no one scrolled!”
Then the actress cleared up the confusion by explaining in the follow-up post and wrote, “We were just having some New Year’s Day fun! People clearly don’t swipe as much as we thought they did. Thank you for the well-wishes, tho’ it really touched our hearts. Now it’s OFFICIAL, the internet is no longer undefeated.”

The film icon of more than a decade, Halle Berry has a fine history of dating famous faces. She was first rumored to be dating Kevin Costner in 1989. She then married David Justice in 1993. The former baseball star, David and her marriage lasted for only four years and they got divorced in 1997.
She then dated Shemar Moore for a year in 1997 after her divorce. The actress then tied the knot with Eric Benét in 2001. Her second marriage also lasted for four years only separating in 2005.
The actress eventually moved on with actor Michael Ealy in 2004 and broke up with him in 2005. She dated Gabriel Aubry for five years from 2005 to 2010. She welcomed her first child, Nahla in 2008 with him.

The Oscar winning actress also admitted how happy she was romantically with Van and said, “I just feel fulfilled. I feel happy in my life romantically, as a mother, as an artist. I'm much a better mother in this circumstance than I would have been had I stayed in a romantic relationship that didn’t serve me and didn’t make me feel the way I need to feel as a woman.”
She added, “I wish I had met him sooner so I could have loved him longer. I just feel fulfilled.”
