Jay Electronica's long-awaited debut studio (new) album, A Written Testimony, is out. On 7 February 2020, he had announced that he had been in the studio with his mentor Jay-Z for the past 40 days and will release his debut album in the next 40 days. A Written Testimony, eventually, came out in 35 days of his announcement on 12 March 2020.
The listening party for A Written Testimony was, however, canceled due to the pandemic Coronavirus (COVID-19), but it was live-streamed.
The album features several artists, including Travis Scott, James Blake, The Dream, Khruangbin, and Jay-Z. Interestingly, Kanye West appears sitting in a ranch in Wyoming, and he is jealous of the bond between Jay Electronica and Jay-Z.
