The TV presenter and singer Louise Redknapp took to her Instagram to hit back at false claims that she spent her Christmas Day together with her ex-husband, Jamie Redknapp.
She wrote on her Instagram, “Several news outlets have run stories today saying I spent Christmas Day with Jamie. I just wanted it to be known that this is false and that they have used Instagram story picture videos that I posted on Christmas Day December 2020.”
She added, “I didn’t want to say anything, but for all the parties involved and both families I don’t think the media should get away with fabricating stories like this.”
The former couple got divorced in December 2017 after being together for almost 20 years and shared two sons together. She also claimed that she was absolutely fine and hit back at celebrity magazine’s claims that she was despair that Jamie had started a family with his new wife. Louise said, “I try not to read or respond to these things but sometimes they are unavoidable. I'd really love to clarify that ‘Louise’ is not in despair or anything like it!! I have my two gorgeous boys that I adore more than anything in the world, the best family around me and I'm having the time of my life with my career and with the most wonderful friends that a girl could hope for.”
She also said that these stories are there to sell magazines but She'd like to make it clear that She's in the most positive of headspaces and loving her life. She concluded, “Here’s to all the ladies out there that are in control of their lives! Before concluding: Come on ...women are better than this.”

Louise also added how Jamie was a great father and shared how she still loves him after all 21 years and said, “he’s the father of my boys. Jamie’s a great dad and is very proud that our sons love me so much. He has old-fashioned values and tells them to respect and love their mum.”
Furthermore, she also shared how they are in co-parenting and said, “We have a great system co-parenting them between us. Our rule is that while one of us is working, the other is with them. We both want the kids all the time and encourage the other to go out so that we can have them. We share everything, too. On Christmas Day, we do the presents together, they’re from us both. Maybe this works now because neither of us is in a relationship, but I like to think it will always be like that.”
