Mae Whitman Comes Out As Pansexual

In this century's context, love usually involves two people of the opposite sex or the same sex. However, the romance people have with each other is far beyond the aforementioned context. There is such thing as pansexuality, where a person will have romantic feelings for his/her/their significant others regardless of their gender identity.

Similarly, Mae Whitman, an American actress and singer best known for her role as Annie Marks in NBC’s Good Girls came out as a pansexual. She was born on 9 June 1988 in Los Angeles, California, USA. Having a talent and skills for acting, she started her career on-screen at the very early age of two.

And now, the actress in her early 30s has come out to be pansexual. Here’s to know more about her!

The actress took to Twitter to promote her character also while coming out as pansexual. Along with an animated picture of Amity shared on her post, she wrote, “Just taking a moment to say I am SO proud to be even a small part of a show like The Owl House.

“Being pansexual myself, I wish I had such incredible characters like Amity and Luz in my life when I was growing up. Queer representation is sososo important. keep it up world! #TOH.”

Personal Life Of Mae Whitman

While Mae Whitman is quite open about revealing her sexuality, her love life usually remains dark or, to say, pretty private. Moreover, in her social media accounts, as well, Mae only gives fans a little glimpse of herself behind the scenes while working.

Sometimes, she was seen taking selfies with her former Parenthood co-stars like Lauren Graham and Miles Heizer, with who she is close friends. Mae was also reportedly linked to The Umbrella Academy alum Dov Teifenbach and The Flash star Robbie Amell.

Mae’s relationship with Robbie took the spotlight, as they made the fans speculating of them dating when they together starred in the hit teen comedy-drama The DUFF in 2015. But, Robbie’s marriage with his longtime partner, Italia Ricci, in 2016 crushed any of those rumors.

As for her relationship with Dov, it seems to be quite a confusing one. One outlet, The Cinemaholic, report of them briefly dated in 2008, while the 2019’s article by Ranker suggests being in a relationship since 2008. But any confirmation is not made from the subject topics themselves.

Mae, during her appearance in Glamour in 2014, opened up of having briefly dated her co-star from Parenthood, musician Landon Pigg. She said,

“Actually my ex-boyfriend Landon was on [Parenthood] one year. He was my boyfriend at the time, and he came on the Lunchoenette to record because he was a musician. We’re still really good friends. He actually helped me write all the music that I’ve sung on this show so far. To have him on the show was pretty special.”

Unfortunately, the pair split up until Landon’s cameo in Season 3, Episode 10, of the show in 2011.

Later in 2014, rumors started circling around Mae being in a relationship with her fellow co-star Peter Krause. The two were frequently spotted together; however, all the dating rumors were stated to be false after Mae called him her BFF and said of having super friendship goals with him. Similar were the cases with her other co-stars, including Miles Heizer, Jane Levy, and Robbie Amell.

As a result of her secretiveness regarding her love life, her personal information only amounts to this much with continuous reviews regarding Mae’s love life articles over the years. However, it is safe to confirm that she has not been married to date, nor any rumors about her marriage have spun around.

Meanwhile, she has also rumored to have had a brief stint of romance with Haley Joel Osment in 2002.

And as of now, even after coming out as pansexual, her private, personal life still remains a secret to the public.
