The actor and singer Quincy Brown has accused JetBlue Pilot of Physical assault. He tweeted about the incident on 28 February, venting out his anger as he wrote, "WHAT A FAKKIN FLIGHT SMH @JetBlue y'all pilot out of pocket for putting his hands on me!!#jetblue." Quincy then posted on his Instagram story, writing, "And I thought I like y'all. F**k @jetblue!!!!!!!!!!"
Quincy Brown then explained all the details of the incident in a video where he said that the pilot put his hands on him. He said that his assistant was carrying the bag to bring on board, and they claimed that the bag didn't fit. So, his assistant got on the plane without his bag, so he let him know that he needed his bag as it had all his anxiety medication, his personal jewelry and all his personal belongings. He shared that the pilot demanded to get the f**king diabetic medication out of the bag and insisted the bag was big enough to remain on the plane.
The singer then described how the pilot grabbed and dragged him when he insisted on getting the bag on the plane. Quincy said, "That's when I got my phone out, I didn't knock him out, and everything was just uncalled for. I ain't never had no pilot put no hands on me. I don't know what you went through before that." He added that he didn't care and the severity of him just trying to get his bag for personal belongings became a situation where a pilot put his hands on him, so he shared all the details of that pilot.
Quincy shared a LinkedIn profile of the pilot, and his name was Todd Papesh. Quincy then added a clip of the aftermath of the incident and said in the video, "Pilot go and drag me. You see, me got a situation. Crazy." Everyone was seen apologizing to them except the pilot in the clip. JetBlue has yet to comment on the incident.
