Sheryl Underwood was born on October 28, 1963, in Arkansas to Joyce Evelyn Underwood and Cleo Underwood.
She would have a twin, but tragically her twin could not make it through during birth. She grew up with her Michael and sister Frankie who suffered from polio. So Sheryl and Michael take turns to take care of Frankie.
As the death of her twin remains, she suffered a series of tragedies after it. The Underwood family was a bit unstable even from before the birth of Sheryl. Her mother was psychologically estranged from her father, so her mother tried everything she could to make Sheryl despise him [father]. Her mother even went as far as to accuse her father of Sheryl’s twin death.
Despite everything her mother had told, Sheryl has always been close to her father. And their bond grew stronger after realizing the truth about her mother.
