From Growing Up As Soprano Artist — To Becoming An Activist
With all talents Zac showed during his childhood, it seemed as if he was destined to have a career as an opera singer, as he worked as a professional boy soprano until he was young. However, he turned his interest in politics by the time he entered university.
He pursued his education at George Washington University from where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in political science in 2007. As a fresher, he got his first step in politics while volunteering for Howard Dean’s presidential campaign.

From 2007 to 2008, Zac worked as a press secretary for the House committee on rules, followed by the role of communications director for a congressional campaign in 2008. His work as a director of communication continued for another year, from 2010 to 2011, in the office of Senator Harry Reid, and then as senior communication from 2011 to 2013. In 2014, when Wendy Davis ran for governor of Texas, Petkanas was a deputy campaign manager.

He was arrested at Grady hospital in Atlanta when a nurse found he had two small baggies of Methamphetamines in his pocket.
He was charged with possessing illegal drugs — but was later dropped after he agreed to join the pre-trial diversion program. He also went to attend a voluntary rehabilitation program to attain sobriety.

Throughout the hard times, his colleagues stood at his side, and during Hilary Clinton’s presidential campaign, he served as a director of rapid response (from October 2015 to November 2016) and then worked as Trump war room director and senior advisor for another three months.
In April 2017, since it was after completing his contract at the Democratic National Committee, he founded his own company, Petkanas Strategies, which serves strategic planning and media relations to the people. He has been working as a president ever since.
