The American producer is now charged with the minor sexual assault of a child.
A week before, on 8 May 2020, Adam faced the accusation of sexually assaulting a teenager. Soon, the authorities took him into custody on 27 April 2020.
But, at the time, he got released from prison with $25,000 lieu, reports Indiewire.com. The agreement of Adam, while posting a bond during his release commands him to remain far from the accuser and her family.
The sexual assault case flamed after a woman with a small role in the 2017 movie 'A Ghost Story' revealed that Adam raped and molested her. She wrote on her Facebook that the producer assaulted her during the production of the film.
The victim claimed she was only 16 at the time of the incident. The identity of the accuser (girl) is kept private by The Dallas Morning News.
Adam and his accuser, who is in her 20s, worked for nearly a decade in the entertainment industry, as per Dallas News.
The Dallas Police Department stated that the accuser and her family could not provide any further information regarding the rape and molestation because of the nature of the case.
On the other side, the Dallas County district clerk's office mentioned that it did not have a copy of the warrant for Adam's arrest, after which it requested information to the police department.
