Coronavirus has been a global pandemic since it struck the planet a year ago in late 2019. Starting from the Eastern world, China, it went through all crook and corner of the world, affecting millions of people and lives. And well, pandemic does not discriminate on any basis. Whether you are a billionaire, political leader, actor, or anything else, you may test positive for the virus.
One of the recent top talks is that the K-pop star, Chungha. Chungha, known as one of the best solo artists in the K-pop industry, got infected with coronavirus (COVID-19).
The South Korean singer's agency MNH Entertainment confirmed the news on Monday, stating that she tested positive.
The 24 years old singer was told that she had been in contact with Corona infected individuals in the past days. After she was explored having contact with the confirmed patients, she underwent testing.
Along with that, those in contact with Chungha have been alerted to test the virus.

Chungha is the latest K-pop star to be infected with the virus.
Previously in November, Bitto of the boy band, Up10tion was found positive for COVID-19. Similarly, his bandmate Kogyeol also tested positive for the virus.
As of now, South Korea has been in the middle of the worst Coronavirus wave to this date. The country has recorded the highest number of infected patients that before since the pandemic outbreak.
While talking of the South Korean soloist singer, Chungha, she and her entertainment agency MNH has postponed all the schedule and promotional activities. It will definitely affect the upcoming release of her album named 'Querencia.'
She has already brought a music video for a song named 'Dream of You' from the same album on 27 November 2020. However, her professional well-being is yet affected as she goes through self-isolation sessions.
Regarding the fact, Chungha mentioned:
'I tried to be careful, but I guess it wasn’t enough. I was also urgently notified today and just found out. I’ll return again and promote good health.'
Chungha is set to bring her new album 'Querencia' in 2021. Similarly, she has single albums entitled XII and Maxi Single in her accounts.
She is well-known for her songs, including Snapping, Play, Gotta Go, Why, Don't You Know, You're In My Soul, Rollercoaster, Cherry Kisses, At The End Of It, How About You, Week, and many others.
