Although, he hasn't provided any details of his father and mother, including their names and occupation, in the media for their privacy. Similarly, Cristobal has never mentioned his siblings, so he might be a single child of his parents.

Cristobal Palacio was found guilty of second-degree murder and two counts of child abuse in August 2012 and got 45 years in prison sentence, 30 being mandatory. In addition, Cristobal was punished with ten years of prison for the child abuse charge to be served concurrently. 

The reason behind such a tragic act was due to Cristobal’s love and jealousy towards his ex-wife’s new life with her husband, Paul Winter. As per dailymail.UK, Cristobal was abusive and controlling during his marriage with his ex-wife, Jennifer. Although they shared adorable twins, Jennifer ended their marriage in 2006, the same year she met Paul Winter via an internet gaming website in November 2006.

Eventually, Jennifer and Paul fell in love and got married in 2007. On 16 October 2008, Jennifer and Paul drove to Cristobal’s house to drop off the twins after their court-ordered visit. However, Paul was brutally shot six times before Jennifer and her twins. He was rushed to the hospital and sadly lost his life before he went to the hospital. 

As per bbc.com, Cristobal had pulled the trigger resulting in the death of Paul Winter in 2008. Cristobal justified his action as self-defense, stating that Paul had pulled a gun on him at least twice before the incident. 

However, his former wife, Jennifer, testified that Paul was unarmed at the time and never owned a gun. Moreover, Cristobal’s twins also stated that they saw him standing next to the minivan toward the back window carrying a gun. His ten-year-old daughter also testified, stating that he was smiling while shooting Paul Winter. Hence, Cristobal was found guilty of the second-degree murder of Paul Winter.
