American Ninja Warrior star Drew Drechsel got arrested on 4 August 2020 for the charge of seeking sex with a minor and inducing her to send him sexually explicit images. The Justice Department released a statement regarding the sexual misconduct led by the actor, citing that the federal charges came from the series of encounters that allegedly occurred five years ago when the victim was 15.
As per the authority, the victim is a 20 years old girl from New Jersey.
Concerning the arrest of Drechsel, his attorney, Frank J. Riccio II, released a statement on his Twitter stating that the reality star does not plead guilty to the alleged crime.

Drechsel appeared in a federal court in Florida, after which he got transferred to New Jersey. His case will be prosecuted in his hometown. The report says that Drew Drechsel first met the victim at an American Ninja Warrior event, after which he paid her a visit at the Connecticut gym, the Real Life Ninja Academy, in July 2015. The New Jersey girl mentioned that she had oral sex and later had sexual intercourse on a mattress behind the 'warped wall.'
Later, they met in person to have sex and had sexual encounters on skype.
The victim accused him of sexual misconduct in June 2019 and filed papers against him at the Cherry Hills, New Jersey Police Department. As per the complaint, the charges that are cited in the documents are:
• Use of interstate commerce to entice, a maximum sentence of life in prison;
• Enticement to travel for illicit sexual conduct, a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison;
• Travel with the intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct, a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison;
• Manufacture of child pornography, a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison.
The recent arrest of the reality star adversely affected his professional life. NBC mentioned that they were utterly shocked by the allegations against the actor, and the American Ninja Warrior brand will cut off all deals and ties with Mr. Drechsel.
