Where do you expect the VFX effects to be implemented? Indeed, the answers might be in big projects like movies, tv-series, and other productions. But 20-year-old former Georgia State University theater major student Julian Bass took the VFX to the next level.
Julian Bass utilized the VFX for his Tik Tok video, which is kind of weird but still unique. Bass, age 20, posted a video on his Tik Tok that featured him cosplaying as Disney superheroes throughout the 20-second clip. He showcased his VFX and editing skills through the clip, which he learned all by himself.
And the 20-second-clip has led him to the pinnacle of fame and limelight; probably it sets his future career as well.
Bass started with Jedi Knight, after which he became Ben 10 and Spiderman. He also posted a video set to One Direction singer Harry Styles and Watermelon Sugar, which went viral in no time. The Tik Tok video has accumulated 5.7 million views as of now. On Twitter, it already had collected the views of more than 10 million, 300,000 retweets, and 650,000 million likes.

On the Twitter post, Bass jokingly wrote, 'if y'all can retweet this enough times that Disney calls, that'd be greatly appreciated.' However, sources have mentioned that he had not expected that it would actually happen. Talking to The Hollywood Reporter, Bass said, 'I jokingly asked for Disney and got the chairman himself.'
Bass' entertaining Tik Tok video before a long holiday in July 2020 also attained the attention of the Guardians of the Galaxy's director, James Gunn, Zach Braff, MSNBC host Joy Reid, Mark Hamill, The Lonely Island guys, and many others.
And most interestingly, one of the biggest men in Disney, Exec Bob Iger himself wrote to Bass that the world is going to know his name.
