12 February 1967 Born Sherri Malarik was the proud child of her beloved parents, father, Dennis Ralph Panzer and mother, Maria Elena Panzer. Her father Dennis was a retired Boeing inspector who also served the country in the U.S. Navy. Sadly, he passed away at 17 years old on 26 February 2012. Sherri Malarik was found lifeless with gunshot wounds in her head on the morning of 22 September 2001. Her prime suspect husband, Greg was arrested in 2020 after his ex-girlfriend, Jennifer Spohn testified against him and stated that he saw him walk out of their family van on the night of murder. Greg placed a bag in her car and later, Spohn threw the bag in a bridge where the purported murder weapon was present.

After his arrest in 2020, Greg was found not guilty in 2022 when the evidence was found to be inconclusive and tampered with by a 12-person jury in October 2023. Hence, Greg was released on a bail bond worth $400,000.
