The world is aware of the US-China cooling relationship throughout the years. And both enclose quite a different bond with the developing country India. Well, the relationship between these three countries is very vast and complicated to explain, but let's start from the Presidential tour of Donald Trump to India.

The United States' President Donald Trump visited the South-Asian country, India, on 24 and 25 February 2020. And the world press praised their close bond as it seemed that the two countries from two different hemispheres had a good term in terms of several affairs.

Now, let's go through a different angle here.

India and China have border issues for many years, and it is still unsolved. On 16 June 2020, the Indian and Chinese troops both had their loss in a battle in the disputed Himalayan border. The clash affected the Indian side most, which seemingly suggested that the bans on Chinese products have been increased massively in India.

Out of them, one field is social media platforms. India recently banned 59 Chinese mobile apps, which include the most famous platform, Tik Tok as well. Well, the netizens don't think that the Indian teenagers can live without Tik Tok, but the ban came as one of the stakes of the United States. Many sources linked the dispute between two countries to the United States.

Everybody thinks India and the US comprises a smooth relationship, and the US will help India as it has multiple problems with China. The help here came as a rumor that the United States will be the next country looking for Tik Tok ban in its country.

But what do you think of the rumors? Is it possible?

Is the United States ready to give up all the teenage Tik Tok users (high-profiled) like Charli D'Amelio, Addison Rae, Zach King, and others for the sake of their disputes?

Well, the answers can be divided. But let's see more about it below.

Is It True US Banning Tik Tok And Other Chinese Apps?

Many American news channels are mentioning that the United States is looking at banning several Chinese social media apps, including Tik Tok.

The 70th US Secretary of State Department, Mike Pompeo confirmed that the White House is "looking at" banning the Chinese social media. He said:

"With respect to Chinese apps on people’s cell phones, I can assure you the United States will get this one right too. I don’t want to get out in front of the President, but it’s something we’re looking at."

Furthermore, he added that if people wish to hand their personal information to the Chinese Communist Party, then they can use Tik Tok and other apps.

On the other hand, the spokesperson for Tik Tok responded to his comments:

"TikTok is led by an American CEO, with hundreds of employees and key leaders across safety, security, product and public policy here in the US."

"We have no higher priority than promoting a safe and secure app experience for our users. We have never provided user data to the Chinese government, nor would we do so if asked."

Similarly, the covering State Department for CNN, Jennifer Hansler tweeted that the nation is likely to get rid of the Chinese apps. As the US and China have many conflicts regarding the commercial market and business, banning Tik Tok might be the best option as it is the most popular Chinese app around the country.

Despite all those rumors, to get rid of the Chinese apps, especially Tik Tok, is a hard thing to deal with. In the present context, it's a direct loss to both countries. It means that the apps will lose their marketplace, and the US netizens will lose their source of income.

This is authentic. Just imagine when all the Tik Tok stars lose their millions of followers on their respective accounts, from where will they earn income. It will mostly affect the teenage people around the countries who are thinking of building their careers around social media apps and stuff.

And the important thing is that we have already seen the tearful voices of Indian citizens who are complaining that the source of entertainment and money is banned.

Getting rid of Tik Tok in India has already lowered the lifestyle, and the United States is opting to go through the same direction, many believe.
