Vachik Mangassarian was a veteran actor best known for his roles in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D who died from Covid Complications at the age of 78 confirmed by the representatives of the actor. It was confirmed that the actor died in Burbank, California. 

Vachik Mangassarian had frequently expressed his opposition to COVID-19 vaccines months before his death. He even had veered into a further territory and posted memes to Facebook that supported the pandemic was a part of the grand conspiracy 

The actor had shared several cartoon memes where one picture showed how a person's mask was controlled by upper hands and it said, "It's not about a 'virus', It's about CONTROL." While another post was targeted to President Joe Biden and it said, "Here's what you can do with my Dose Joe LET'S GO BRANDON!"

Many of his posts suggested how the democrats were behind all the conspiracies regarding the virus and the pandemic. The actor once clearly showed his opposition in an October post, he shared a sign that said, "I'm more afraid of White House Democrats than Covid-19."

Vachik had also shared a quote from George Orwell that said, "Political language is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable." He posted a photo of several weapons and it showed vaccine as a kind of weapon in the picture and "The evolution of warfare" was written in it.

The actor had also shared that he didn't like the vaccine obligations like vaccine passports that emerged in cities such as New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Burbank. However, the actor had been opposed to getting the covid vaccine but ultimately got it for his work, his rep shared, "I know about his original stance, but after I had a talk with him, his desire to work became more important to him."

Vachik Mangassarian Death Details

Vachik Mangassarian's death was confirmed by his manager Valerie McCaffrey on Tuesday with USA TODAY saying that he died at the age of 78 due to Covid Complications. The actor was known for opposing Covid vaccines and had downplayed the pandemic before the virus took his own life even though he was vaccinated.

The actor had shared a post of an image on Facebook last month that read, "The older you get, the more you realize how precious life is. You have no desire for drama, conflict, or stress. You just want good friends, a cozy home, food on the table, and people who make you happy."

Who Was Vachik Mangassarian?

Vachik Mangasarian was born in 1943 in Iran but he shifted to the U.S. in the mid-1960s and became a well-recognized American actor. Before acting, he worked as a waiter in os Angeles. He made his debut in Hollywood with The South's Shark in 1978 and became a popular actress by the mid-80s.

He appeared in series like The Fall Guy, The A-Team, Sledge Hammer!, Murder, She Wrote, and more. He also made guest appearances in TV shows like Murphy Brown, Falcon Crest, Jake and the Fatman, NYPD Blue and JAG, and more. He was best known for his role as a fake Iranian president in NCIS and as a cleric on Curb Your Enthusiasm. He appeared as a character named Qasim Zaghul in the 2013 episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
