On 3 March 2020, Courtney came forth with an Instagram post writing that she has officially divorced with her husband.
Through the post, she accused Doug of leaving her trapper, manipulated, and abandoned by adults. She mentioned that she became lonely growing up in such an environment with Doug.

Doug And Courtney's Relationship; A Tumultuous One
Doug Hutchison and his ex-wife, Courtney Stodden, were through on/off relationship over the years. They married in 2011 when he was 50, and Courtney was 16 years old. Courtney accepted the marriage proposal with the permission of her mother, Krista Keller.
As her married life backlashed, her bond with Krista also turned out to be a tough one.

But Krista, too, believed that she was not happy with her daughter's married life as Doug and Courtney first split in 2013 after a couple of years of their married life. They got reconciled in 2015 but again separated in 2018.
And, after nearly two years of their split, now, they have officially taken their relationship to divorce.

Before marrying Courtney Stodden, Doug led his marital tie with Kathleen Davison and Amanda Sellers. Doug and his first wife Kathleen were married for three years from 1999 to 2002.

After the split with Kathleen, he started dating Amanda Sellers in 2002. Within a year, the couple gave their relationship a new shape and exchanged their wedding vows on 13 March 2003. Doug and Amanda tragically called their relationship quit in 2005.
