General Hospital Star Ingo Rademacher Sues ABC Over Vaccine Mandate

The actor, Ingo Rademacher is reportedly suing ABC over the network’s vaccine mandate. The actor was fired last month from his popular work as Jasper ‘Jax’ Jacks on the soap opera ‘General Hospital’ after refusing to get vaccinated for COVID-19.

The actor had filed a lawsuit against the ABC as he argued that the company’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate is constitutional and amounts to religious discrimination.

According to the actor’s lawsuit, he had written in an Oct 11 email to Disney’s HR department, “I am entitled to a religious exemption against mandatory vaccination for COVID-19 on the basis of my deeply and sincerely held moral belief that my body is endowed by my creator with natural processes to protect me and that its natural integrity cannot ethically be violated by the administration of artificially created copies of genetic material, foreign to nature and experimental.”

The legal team of the actor argues that ABC was required to honor his religious exemption and that questioning his beliefs is akin to religious discrimination. Moreover, the actor himself claimed that the vaccine mandate violated his right to privacy. The lawsuit stated, “This should not be a political issue. There is no need for everybody to get the COVID-19 shot, even if the president demands it.”

The actor, Ingo Rademacher then took to his Instagram to share about his separation from the General Hospital and wrote, “A special thanks to all the Fans. Thanks for incredible 25 years on General Hospital. And yes I need a haircut.”

The actor’s character Jax said goodbye to his ex-wife Carly on the show saying he’s returning to Australia to take care of business which was his final appearance in the show.
